Saturday in Melbourne

Saturday it was cloudy and overcast. It did rain lightly for 10 minutes or so. We sat out front of the condo having a coffee and met the neighbour. A very interesting chap. A world traveller who displays a different country flag everyday. He has a 1967 Chevelle 327, first owner, and off road races "The Road Warrior". This vehicle is piece of work and he has been pulled over 80 or more times.

We cleaned up and headed back to Melbourne for the St. Patrick's Day parade and other activities. The girls packed it in by mid afternoon. The boys stayed to experience the sights and events. Later in the evening the girls returned.

Today's pictures revisit yesterday's activities at Melbourne.

Shells Bells Saturday night the street was blocked off and the millions of people (mostly young) had to go through a gate where we were given a bracelet. St Paddy's celebration is really big in Melbourne and no one we saw was really drunk and misbehaving,no swearing which was nice.. we had lots of fun. L/Mom
