Wednesday was another special weather day in Ormond by the Sea. Our company left for Davenport, Orlando area to prepare for their return to the Boston area on Thursday. Charmaine and Nick departed Ottawa at 0630 AM arriving at Orlando IA at 0930 AM on Sun Wing Airlines, new to me. We expect them around noon.
HR SAYS:
It was lonesome after my Massachusetts company left yesterday but this morning I am expecting Charmaine & Nick to arrive. They are flying in to Orlando and renting a car.
We will be off to Melbourne Beach tomorrow to take in the St Paddy’s festivities with the Lewis’s on Saturday. We will also drop in on some other friends from Ottawa visiting Melbourne Beach. There is a Big Birthday in Melbourne Beach today: Happy Birthday Arabella, we will celebrate with you soon.

It will be another great day here on the Atlantic side of Florida. Can’t remember the last time I went swimming in a pool in March, or even the Atlantic Ocean for that matter…the water is just great…very refreshing. The sun is warm and the breeze from the ocean makes it just right for me….life is perfect. There was much more activity on the beach yesterday. We even saw a few porpoises going by. I was surprised to see how close to shore they were.

Congrats to Hotette Jud back in Ottawa on winning the glass of wine after bowling with the Hot Shots. I think the rest of the players should have been “last resort” players, maybe the seven points would have been won!!!!! I know the other Hotettes would join me in saying how proud we are of you…way to go, girl. Captain Hotshot, who is on the gulf side of Florida, your team is missing you!!!!!

Big activity going on with our friends on the gulf side of Florida tomorrow, the Southern Hot Shot Classic golf game is taking place, as I understand. Last year’s winner, won’t be there to defend his title so good luck to Hot Shots Pete, Jim & Captain Gerry. Ladies enjoy your day shopping.

Jim & Alena have a good trip back to Ottawa. You might not like to leave the warmth of Florida but to be home for the birth of your second grandchild will be wonderful. We note from pictures the snow is Ottawa is pretty much gone and looks like spring is around the corner which is quite different from last year. We await the news of your new grandchild.

Today's pictures are of yesterdays activities and a beautiful full moon reflected over the ocean.

Hi Helen (and Gord)
Thanks for the kind words on bowling. I only wish we had taken 7 points for the vacationing Captain. Needed you to be there HEL.

Sounds like you are having a ball in Florida and it will be hard to come home again.

Have a great time with Char and Nick and of course happy celebrations on Paddy's Day.
