Sunday was a beautiful Ormond by the Sea weather day. The sunshine state lived up to its name.

It was the last day of the Daytona Bike Week celebration. There was less bike traffic on the roads as the bikers headed out of town. The continuous exhaust thunder from the bikes became a little much. The bike week was a success as reported in the local papers but the merchandise vendors complained of poor sales. The recession played a big part.

The day started with a breakfast brunch. The girls walked the beach and enjoyed the most excellent weather. The boys toured downtown Daytona,the International Speedway, the LPGA training facility and golf course. This facility hosts the LPGA Q school in December. It was off the the Riviera Country Club for a round of golf. A great day. We returned after golf for pizza, beer, wine and plenty of good conversation.
