Thursday was sunny with cloudy periods with a threat of rain in the afternoon. The temperature remained in the low to mid 70's F. Just a lazy day, played around on the Internet. Helene did some sewing and knitting. I went on a long bike ride and found a garage sale, no pink flamigos, but did see two pool cues. We did our usual walk of the beach for an hour. There is always a sea rolling in and many shore birds. The Pelicans continue to amaze as they soar inches over the rolling waves and then lift off like CF 18's and dive down into the water to feed. The area is beginning to fill up with Daytona 500 race fans.

Todays pictures are of an hybisius with an orange tree in the background. The second picture is on the Rockafeller homestead in Ormond. The third relates to a previous BLOG picture of the Watch Tower used during WWII from a plaque posted at the site.
